While many similar ‘jazz’ events, in spite of their names, host different musical genres in the attempt to reach a mainstream audience, at the Tuscia In Jazz you’ll actually find all the pure jazz music you’re looking for. And a hug audience, of course. A decade and over of amazing shows with the most relevant stars of the world proof the reputation of the Festival, recently voted at the JazzIt Awards as the second most important italian jazz event. The Tuscia In Jazz is also known for its mission to turn young talented musicians into famous rising stars: Jimmy Woode European Jazz Award contestants are asked to play on stage and in jam with the greatest international names, and the Jimmy Woode European Jazz Award winners are given the chance to record an album with world-famous artists.
The Tuscia In Jazz dates are hosted by the city of Viterbo and by the following towns: Soriano nel Cimino, Ronciglione, Sutri, Tuscania, Caprarola, Bagnaia, Tuscania and Bagnoregio.
