The Tuscia In Jazz Seminars are an extraordinary chance to meet world’s greatest jazzmen and to become better musicians and better humans. The classes are open to everyone who mean to improve his knowledge of one ore more instruments in the jazz music field, and will take place all day-long with instrument lessons, ensamble music lessons and classes of theory and harmony. At the end of the seminars the students will be given a certificate of attendance. With the Tuscia In Jazz’s teaching format, a single enrolment fee allows to attend every single instrument class and every concert with no extra costs. At the end of the summer camp, during the Night In Jazz, students will play on stage with their teachers.
Flavio Boltro

Flavio Boltro was born in Turin in 1961. World famous trumpetist since 20 years, played with great musicians such as Cedar Walton, Bob Berg, Don Cherry, etc. He performed in festivals and tours as a sideman with Freddie Hubbard and Jimmy Cobb. In the nineties was a member of the sextet of Michel Petrucciani, and collaborated regularly with still Stefano di Battista and Michel Portal. In 1988 he was quoted by Wynton Marsalis as one of the best trumpet players of the global jazz scene. He also recorded two albums for Blue Note history: Road Runner (1999) and “40″ (2003).
Avishai Cohen

Avishai Cohen Is a New York City based Jazz musician originally from Tel Aviv, Israel. Cohen is an internationally recognized influential jazz trumpet player, composer, and bandleader. His playing style reflects a heavy influence from the Bebop and Post-bop traditions. However elements of Avant-garde Jazz, Jazz, Jazz fusion, contemporary styles can be heard in Cohen’s playing as well. Cohen Attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston and began establishing himself within the Jazz community after placing third in the prestigious Thelonious Monk Jazz Trumpet Competition. Cohen is currently an active member of the SF Jazz Collective, Traveni, and Third World Love and is still actively touring.
Aldo Bassi

In 1981 Aldo Bassi graduated in trumpet at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome under the guidance of Carlo Uva since 1982, and after military service, he continued to deepen the technical knowledge with Alberto Corvini and the different styles of jazz phrasing with Oscar Valdambrini. In this period he’s called to fill the role of first trumpet in the St. Louis Big Band directed by Bruno Biriaco, with whom he collaborated for many years later. This experience permanently marked his transition to the world of Jazz. He has worked with some of the most important jazz musicians of the Italian and international scene such as: Roberto Gatto, Maurizio Giammarco, Rosario Giuliani, Enrico Rava, Stefano Di Battista, Danilo Rea, Tullio De Piscopo, Donald Harrison, Gary Bartz, Steve Turre, Steve Grossman, George Garzone, Rick Margitza, Benny Golson, Mike Stern, Kenny Wheeler, Maria Schnaider, Bill Holman. Bassi is one of the components of PMJO, Parco della Musica Auditorium di Roma Jazz Orchestra. He taught for years in the best jazz schools in Rome. Since 2004 he teaches trumpet and jazz trombone ensemble music and jazz at the Conservatory of Frosinone.
